Burger King veggie cruncky chicken deluxe

Burger King

Burger King has partnered with The Vegetarian Butcher to expand its plant-based range, allowing the fast-food chain to offer its entire menu as plant-based with the ‘Make it Veggie’ concept. As part of this collaboration, Burger King launched the exclusive Veggie Crunchy Chicken Deluxe burger, available only at Schiphol! It features a vegetarian patty that mimics the taste and texture of a chicken patty, complemented by fresh lettuce, tomatoes and a special sauce. Don’t miss the chance to try this exclusive offering, it’s only available at the airport until 1 September 2024! You’ll find Burger King Plaza opposite the Albert Heijn supermarket.

FEBO

The well-known Dutch fast food chain FEBO recently opened its doors at Schiphol Plaza. It sells a wide range of snacks, including fries (with all kinds of different sauces) and no less than four vegetarian specialities. Customers can choose from a vegetarian chicken burger, vegetable croquette, noodle-filled bamihap and cheese souffle. Available to order from the counter or at the iconic vending-machine style snack wall. You can find FEBO between Planes@Plaza and Victoria’s Secret.

Toko to go

For vegetarian Indonesian food on-the-go, look no further than Schiphol Plaza’s Toko. Here, you can put together your own meal with a rice or noodle base and choice of vegetable and/or tofu dishes – a great choice for hungry mouths. If you fancy something lighter, Toko to go also has a tasty and meat-free noodle soup and various small snacks. Despite what the name might say, you’re also very welcome to take a seat and eat in. You can find Toko to go next to Café Rembrandt at Arrivals 1.

LEON

LEON offers fast food with a healthy twist, ‘food that tastes good and does you good’. It therefore goes without saying that they have plenty of vegetarian options on their menu. Vegetables and legumes form the basis of many at LEON, with meat often being offered as a side dish rather than the main feature. How does a roasted aubergine Thai curry sound? Or perhaps a Brazilian black bean bowl? With a veggie option on the children’s menu too, LEON is a great place to enjoy a meat-free meal with the whole family. LEON is located behind Plaza’s Burger King.

STACH at Schiphol

STACH

There are gluten-free, meat-free and vegan options galore at STACH. From vegan poke bowls and mushroom burgers to smashed avocado sandwiches and salads, there are vegetarian options to suit all tastes. It also sells great coffee and a diverse range of sweet treats. The even better news? A lot of the ingredients used and products sold are local and seasonal – good for you and more sustainable. You can find STACH next to where you can buy train tickets at Schiphol Plaza.

These are just some of the tasty vegetarian meals and snacks available at Schiphol. Looking for vegan options at the airport? Check out this blog!
