Introducing! In February, Patrick van Schalkwijk started as Head of Real Estate Development at Schiphol Real Estate (SRE). In this role, he is responsible for all (re)developments of Schiphol's commercial real estate. Together with his team, he is involved in the recalibration of all development strategies for the various areas (Schiphol Central Business District, East and Southeast) and the development of new buildings at Schiphol East, where a lot will happen in the coming period, and developments in the Central Business District.
Patrick has a significant track record in the field of real estate development. He worked for more than 7.5 years at AM area development (part of Royal BAM Group N.V.) as development manager for the Amsterdam metropolitan area. Here he worked on area development projects and won tenders. With his extensive real estate experience, Patrick is a valuable addition to our SRE team!
