Combining Deep Turnaround and Apple Vision Pro to optimise the aircraft turnaround process. Here’s what that looks like. Before the launch of the Apple Vision Pro, the team has explored ways to augment decision making by more intuitive interaction with real-time turnaround data.

Deep Turnaround is already live and providing value at multiple airports. Apple Vision Pro can push the boundaries even further in terms of how the data is used.

Personalised

For example, currently the optimisation of the aircraft turnaround process requires gate planners to navigate through multiple sources and screens of information to find actionable insights. By leveraging the capabilities of Apple Vision Pro, we can help gate planners to find, organise and utilise this information in an intuitive and personalised manner. It’s possible to asses critical information spatially, making it easier to identify bottlenecks and improve decision making.

Predictions, integrated

It’s also possible to interact with virtual representations of the airport and aircraft, observing their allocation status and turnaround progress. These immersive visualisations help provide a holistic view of the airport status and enable effective and timely decision making. To help anticipate upcoming bottlenecks we have integrated predictive insights from our deep-learning algorithm. Using a combination of historical data and and real-time camera input, Deep Turnaround is able to predict delays in the turnaround process. These predictions can also be integrated in the views you see here.
