The Panorama Terrace at Schiphol is a great place to see airplanes up close and enjoy panoramic views of the airport. The terrace is located on the roof of the terminal building and offers a unique perspective on one of the busiest airports in Europe.

Step into a real KLM Fokker 100

At Schiphol, you can take a closer look at a real KLM Fokker 100 on the Panorama Terrace. This aircraft, which was in service from 1989 to 2010, offers visitors the chance to see the cockpit, sit in original passenger seats, and learn more about the history of Fokker. The aircraft flew for the first time on March 2, 1989 and for the last time on February 19, 2010.

How do you get to the Panorama Terrace at Schiphol?

The Panorama Terrace is located on the 1st floor of Schiphol Plaza and is accessible to everyone. You can find the Panorama Terrace by taking the stairs, escalator or elevator from the ground floor at café Rembrandt to the next floor. There you take the stairs, escalator or elevator at desk row 1 to the second floor. A footbridge will lead you to the Panorama Terrace. The Panorama Terrace is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00.

Please note that in case of bad weather conditions such as fog, slippery roads and storms, the Panorama Terrace is closed. The Panorama Terrace may also be closed from time to time for safety reasons. The Panorama restaurant may be open, but in that case the access to the terrace is also closed.
