Unexpected occurrences in one particular process can lead to disruptions in other processes. All parties in the chain are dependent on each other. To gain a better insight into this, the APOC publishes a daily Airport Operations Plan (AOP). This is an operational plan that provides insight into the expected planning for airport operations. The total airport capacity, and the associated airport performance targets, are established jointly and integrally with supply chain partners in the AOP.
The AOP is published (on a multi-day basis) in case of deviations and coordination takes place in chain briefings. This creates a single shared operational picture and forms the basis on which shared decisions can be made. To be well connected to the European network as well as the sector, we share the AOP with Eurocontrol.
