Which tests must you take? : Staff
Do you need your Schiphol Pass to provide access to areas which are subject to more stringent security measures? If so, in some cases you will first need to take a test at the Badge Centre. Details of the tests and what you need to do are provided below.

Resitting the test
The following rules apply to those who do not immediately pass the test:
-
First fail: You can resit the test on the same day. Would you like to return on the next day or a different day? If so, you will need to take all the tests again. This must be done within two months of the date on the application form.
-
Second fail: If you need to take the test a third time, this will only be possible from the next day onwards. All the tests will need to be taken again within two months of the date on the application form.
Valid application form
The application form expires after two months. If you resit the test after two months have passed, the form will need to be completed and signed by your employer once again.
Airside Safety Test for access to the Security Restricted Areas and Critical Part on airside
Are you requesting a Schiphol Pass which provides access to the Security Restricted Areas and Critical Part on airside (perimeter roads and/or aprons)? If so, you must pass the Airside Safety Test. This test forms part of the Safety & Security Test and consists of multiple choice questions about regulations, rules and security in the airside area. Depending on where you will be working, the test may consist of two parts: 12 questions about the perimeter roads and 12 questions about the aprons. Because everyone working in these areas must be able to speak and understand Dutch or English at an operational level, six listening questions are part of the test.
