The MKS design process, working with the stakeholders for the Bus part-project, is going well. “We expect the MKS Steering Group to publish an Implementation Decision (Uitvoeringsbesluit) in April 2023. That’s what we’re working towards,” says the project manager Michel Hensens. An Implementation Decision marks the transition to the realisation phase.

In recent weeks, the stakeholders have had the opportunity to react to the Bus project final-design. “The stakeholders’ reactions have been generally positive. We do have a few points – so-called ‘open items’ – to clear up, but we’re headed in the right direction. We’re now quickly moving towards implementation dates. By the summer of 2023 we’ll certainly be able to start moving pipes and cables,” says Michel.
