Privacy statement for fall detection on ramps
Schiphol Nederland B.V. ('Schiphol') attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy. In this privacy statement, we explain how we handle the personal data that we process about you with the fall detection system on ramp 10/11 at Schiphol.
Which personal data do we process?
For the safety of our visitors and employees, we are running a pilot to test a fall detection system on the ramp. The system involves processing the following data:
- Blurred Video footage
- Movement patterns: The AI cameras analyse movement patterns to detect falls.
- Time and location data: The exact time and place of the recorded images can also be considered personal data.
- • Fall detection data: If a fall is detected, specific data about that incident is recorded, such as the time of the fall, its location on the ramp, and any actions taken by those involved.
