Data processing: Making an online appointment with the Badge Center
Schiphol Nederland B.V. ('Schiphol') attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy. In this privacy statement, we explain how we collect and use your personal data when you make an appointment at the Badge Center.
What personal data do we process?
To make an online appointment with the Badge Center, we need to process your first name, last name, email address and mobile phone number. You are requested to fill in these personal data yourself when you make the appointment.
Why do we process your personal data?
Schiphol processes your personal data to send you a confirmation message of your appointment with the Badge Center. Additionally, we use your personal data to send you notifications to keep you up to date regarding your appointment. Schiphol has a legitimate interest to process your personal data for these reasons.
How long do we retain your personal data?
The personal data that you share with us for the abovementioned reasons will be deleted three months after the day of your appointment with the Badge Center.
Who is data controller?
Schiphol Nederland B.V. is data controller for processing the abovementioned personal data for making an appointment and for processing personal data on the website.
What are your rights?
Access to and deletion of your personal data. You have the right to know which personal data Schiphol processes about you. You can also request that we delete personal data and stop using it.
Restriction of processing. If you believe that we are not processing your data correctly, you can request that the processing be restricted.
Right to transfer your data. You can also ask us to transfer your digital personal data to you or another party in a readable and usable form.
Your request and our response Do you have a question, a request or do you want to object? Please email our Data Protection Officer (DPO) via dpo@schiphol.nl. We strive to respond to your request in a timely manner.
If necessary to confirm your identity, we may ask you to send a copy of a valid ID. You can find out how to make a safe copy on the website of the Dutch government.
If we do not find your request clear, we may ask you to specify and/or supplement your request so that we can provide you with the best possible service.
Filing a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority?
If you are not satisfied with the way we handle your privacy or the handling of your request or objection, you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
