Parking for a long period at Schiphol? With our new shuttle bus, you can fly to your plane in no time. The free shuttle bus takes you from the P3 Long Term car park to the terminal and back to your car again in just 5 minutes. What’s more, the new 18-metre-long buses are all electric! Read how you can start your journey fully charged in this blog.

Shuttle bus every 10 minutes

A long trip from Schiphol starts with a short ride in our newest electric shuttle bus. Once you have parked your car at the P3 car park or in the parking garage, you go to the bus stop with your baggage. Here, you catch the spacious shuttle bus to the departure hall. There’s a departure every 10 minutes, day and night. Our shuttle buses are brand new and very sustainable – they run entirely on sustainably generated electricity!

Charged using P3 solar panels

We charge the new shuttle buses with the help of the P3 parking garage. On the roof of the garage there are 6,000 solar panels! These provide all of P3 with sustainable energy; the barriers, lighting, payment terminals – all power comes from the solar panels. That also includes the power for the electric buses! When the sun doesn't shine, we supplement the power supply with sustainably generated electricity from windmills. So this shuttle bus always drives emission-free.

Buses day and night

P3 Long Term is always open. The shuttle buses run back and forth between the car park and the arrivals hall 24/7. Even when your flight arrives in the middle of the night, the electric bus will be ready to take you to P3.You can find the shuttle bus at bus stop A5 when you walk out of the arrivals hall through Schiphol Plaza. From there it’s just a 5-minute ride and you're back at the car park.

Sustainable, electric transport

The P3 shuttle buses are part of a large electric fleet that drives around Schiphol. The public transport buses have been electric since 2018, the taxis are almost exclusively electric, and your electric car is welcome at our charging stations. Do you want to know more about how you can travel sustainably to and from the airport?
