Visit the travel clinic
You don’t want to fall ill while travelling. That’s why you should first check if you need vaccinations for the country you are flying to, along with what hygiene and living standards are like there. At Airport Medical Services, there is a travel clinic offering vaccinations. The specialists there are happy to help, whether you need it months before departure or last minute.
Many (sub)tropical countries recommend or require vaccinations or other preventative measures. Therefore, always check the travel advice for the country you are going to. It’s best to get vaccinated between four and six weeks before departure. For advice or travel vaccinations, make an appointment online.
You can also get travel vaccinations last minute after security. However, keep in mind that travellers with an appointment have priority. If it’s very busy, it may not be possible to get a last-minute vaccination.
There are two Travel Clinic locations at Schiphol: one before the security check and one after.
